I had a leaky spigot outside my kitchen a year ago. I went to a pluming supply store and got the right replacement…
and installed it myself. Started leaking again recently. I removed the handle, but the nut on the fixture was so tight I couldn’t remove it.
Got a plumber to replace it as well as install a new part on our kitchen faucet. The total cost was about $250.
