NHL is way better. Scoring is waaay up. Small market teams consistently compete
Hard salary cap in place. US Hockey consistently producing superstars in the NHL.
Costs to watch a game live is probably the most expensive cost per capita. But at OLED TV makes hockey much more watchable on TV. And ESPN+/TNT makes games extremely accessible.
