I’m confused why NIL boosters do this like year to year and player specific

It really seems like setting up an endowment of sorts with a paid administrator would be the way to go. The admin could determine the market value of players and compensate them accordingly from the endowment’s earnings.

If I were Uber wealthy, the idea of giving millions per year to bring in the best talent would get to be extremely tiring.
