It takes players different lengths of time to develop parts of their game
And they focus on different things.
Dallin was only a SO and shooting the midrange wasn't a huge priority for him this season. That's totally fine. The midrange will come along in time I think. Just like Richie's handles may come along in time so he'll be able to score off the bounce vs a team like Duquesne instead of choking.
The finishing at the rim part is a much bigger worry for him because it's a part of your game that doesn't take the same kind of work to develop typically.
