Asthma with my parents taking me for breathing treatment quite often as a toddler.

It was bad enough this time that after about 1 minute I decided we were going to the hospital. That’s significant because of my experience with asthma for it to be bad enough that it warranted an ER trip means it was pretty bad.

After about 5 minutes of driving, his breathing had calmed, he was no longer coughing and he was falling asleep again. Got to the hospital and sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes, turned around and came home.

I’m now outside with him asleep on my lap as we breath this cold, rainy air.

Scary moment there for a bit, but I’m cherishing this moment of peace right now as I hold him.
