Yeah, I know. But he's all about quantity and diversity of assets. It seems he
would rather have a late first for Olynyk and Agbaji than the 5th pick instead of the 8th. BTW, he mentioned odds. Something that always bugs me is when people just assume the Jazz would get the 1st pick if they were just bad enough. The chances of getting the 1st pick aren't good, even if you finish with the worst record. I think he feels like he has better control of things when it comes to asset accumulation and trades.

Meh. Hopefully the Jazz are good in 2026 & then the pick (top 8 projected) just conveys to OKC & it’s all a moot point
