I’m not so sure
The Pelicans are the 7 seed this year and won 49 games. At best the Jazz were .500 this year. I’m not sure DJM improves the Jazz by 8 wins.
I also don’t think the Jazz make a move for a player the caliber of Murray without another move to get another player much better than Murray.
If PHI doesn’t make it out of the play-in and Embiid asks out, yeah I can see the Jazz adding Murray if they can land Embiid. But if they can’t land a top 20 guy they’re not adding a top 70 guy.

Meh. Hopefully the Jazz are good in 2026 & then the pick (top 8 projected) just conveys to OKC & it’s all a moot point
