I put a small deposit down to hold it after verifying with the dealer that it was refundable if I moved on. Then I called several mechanics in the area that had good reviews and asked them to look over the vehicle. They gave me a good foundation of what to expect. I think it was like $100 to get it inspected. Then we bought it. We have been very happy with it.
