That’s how I bought my truck a few years ago. Live in AZ, bought it in
ID.
Called them, said I was interested, FaceTimed a few times to go over questions and stuff.
I put a deposit down and flew up. They picked me up in the airport with the truck for me to test drive around. I was probably in and out of the dealership with the vehicle in under 30 minutes.
Was I in the strongest negotiating position? Probably not, but the truck had the characteristics I wanted at the price point that was acceptable to me and I did all the stuff people normally do over the phone verses at the dealership.
