The man has never recruited, & has no experience at BYU. Those alone are two HUGE challenges for him coming in.
Responsibilities & even job descriptions for an NBA HC are in many ways entirely different those of an NBA HC.
Coaching the different talent level in the players will also be a challenge. I have no doubt he'll figure that one out rather quickly — but the recruiting (w NIL) & BYU's unique challenges in the Big 12 playing field Kevin just entered — they'll take a bit more time to adjust to.

Kevin's an impressive hire as a bball mind & technical coach. I sure hope he works out. But he's also underqualified
