I got side swiped last year. I went to 3 body shops and got quotes. I then took
the highest quote and contacted insurance. My car had 130,000 miles on it and over 10 years old. They considered it a total lost. Wasn't worth the money to fix the doors. I fixed the doors the best I can and pocketed the other $7800.
