Of course. Building a solid support staff doesn't magically qualify Young's resume w what it lacks, though.
That said, he certainly needs a guy or two to carry the team for him — in stuff like recruiting & BYU politics. And that's easier said than done.

Kevin's an impressive hire as a bball mind & technical coach. I sure hope he works out. But he's also underqualified

The man has never recruited, & has no experience at BYU. Those alone are two HUGE challenges for him coming in.
