Don't be embarrassed. I once quit a job, like a career job, not some little
high school thing, because if I didn't I was likely going to straight up get fired. It sucked, and the job I left for didn't really work out for me so well, so I ended up back in school and after some struggle I made it into something better that I never would have had if I had just stayed there. It'll be hard, but it can be okay.
