While I haven’t seen the plans as I am not the NHL commissioner, I have also heard that the Delta Center will be the only arena going forward, with a refurbishing price tag near, but below $1B, with 17,000 seats for hockey and around 19,000 for the Jazz. pic.twitter.com/meWJPwkJEq

That’s pretty small for hockey. Only two NHL teams — the New Jersey Devils and Winnipeg Jets are smaller.

21 current NHL arenas are in the 17K and 18K range. It’s just fine.
