So he had 2M going into his deal that netted him $300M plus.

Big whoop. Seems pretty unremarkable for someone who probably gets paid a $100k appearance fee to show up for a weird number of business-focused podcasts. I still maintain 99% of his success is dumb luck and having the fortune of cashing out a few months before his business would have inevitably collapsed and he would have been a blip on the public radar.
