Coach Hardy seems to want to make an example out of him for struggling offensively while at the same time giving Clarkson free rein to suck. Both JCs got too many minutes from Hardy, when they were available, and both stunk it up defensively. Kessler was a solid defender but they didn’t feel he was a fit playing with Collins, which was probably correct as the spacing was poor.

Kessler himself does need to be a more diverse player and learn to rebound and screen better. A comparison to Rudy isn’t fair since Kessler is nowhere near as good as Rudy.
