I tend to believe it lands somewhere in the middle. There are outliers also. Vegas has made a ton of money for the casinos and businesses on the strip with the raiders and golden knights coming to town. The casinos also burdened a large portion of the tax increase. Individuals in Las Vegas probably have not seen a lot of difference. I think salt lake needs something like is being proposed. I also don’t think taxes should fund all of it. There are ways to fund these things without taking money out of the individual taxpayers pockets. Hotel taxes etc. also why can’t our lawmakers come up with a revenue share program with these teams and the concerts coming through. I know that isn’t the norm now so it’s harder to convince people of it but there are so many ways to intelligently fund this. It’s got huge potential. Our lawmakers are just to concerned with putting money in their own pockets and don’t actually care about constituents and making a good deal for them.

I personally want this to happen but I want it structured differently.
