I’m also a pretty direct person and don’t mind being confrontational. I know not everyone is this way.

Personally, I would sit him down and say there’s something i need to talk to you about. And then just tell him the full story.

Maybe im old school, but that’s what I consider the way. It’s a difficult conversation but he will thank you.
