I was in Calgary for a few days and only had a short afternoon in Banff. We saw this restaurant but didn't have time, and I sometimes think about it and wished I have loved to try it (although I have no idea if the restaurant was any good). Worth searching a bit online if wild game is something you enjoy. (I don't know what the rules in Canada are, but in the US the meats would have been farm raised, not wild, so perhaps they were just advertising it as exotic meats, not wild game — I can't remember)

There were also people fly fishing in the Bow River — I didn't have my gear and wished I did. Worth looking into if you are so inclined.
