I'm right there with you... I haven't fainted or passed out... yet
But I know I've been really close. And I know exactly what caused my fear of needles. When I was 7 I had to have my tonsiles removed. I remember everything as if it was yesterday. We walked me into the hospital to and my mom took me over to this blood drawing station that they had setup... of course I threw a fit and the nurse told my mom that they would come to my room later to do it.

So we get up to the room, and the doctor is there telling me that there would be no needles... right then 5 nurses come into my room... 4 of them are holding me down while one is driving needles into me and that pretty much did it for me.

I had my physical right before my mission and I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, I didn't think I would get a needle. So I went to it and my doctor told me that I was missing one shot, I freaked out, ran out of the room and into his office, locked the door and called my mom to come help me. The doctor opened the door and yelled at me, brought his staff in and stuck me with the needle and told me to leave. LOL
