We're in unprecedented times for BYU and athletes in general & the only thing guaranteed right now is the $$ - the prestige is a pipedream to most.

As a fan we all think that players or coaches at BYU should be as loyal as we are and it's really NOT true, because at the end of the day self-interest trumps team loyalty. Fans hate it, but it's mostly true. Sure you'll have some die hard BYU legacies but now with $$ being a driving force, what's to prevent many teams from going into the portal just to see what $$ they can get?

Something needs to change, but it's nuts right now, and not sure how BYU keeps playing the game.
