If she files a lawsuit, the negotiations and settlement will be private, but the lawsuit itself will always be public
Record. This information should be available if they search all legal filings and not just criminal filings. For an executive position like it sounds like she was in, this information would be known. If she were a director or lower, they might not go to that extent.
