What he was referring to was the “customer service dashboard” this Department created which was an absolute farce. The administration took credit for things airlines were already doing. But required airlines to put these things in their CSP(customer service plan)…which meant if the airlines failed to comply with their own policy (not the law) DOT could take enforcement action.

Airlines didn’t want to put those things in their CSP because typically the CSP only included what the law requires. But because twitter, instagram, and TikTok are better regulators of behavior than airlines they always went above and beyond their CSP anyway.

The administration lied to the American public and said they forced airline to change their policies. Misleading at best. Policies stayed the same. But once they put those policies in the CSP government could then bring enforcement action if they messed up.
