You demean the BYU basketball program as one that never has nor ever will accomplish anything (this is a BYU fan forum btw) along with berating people on their view of a former HC who left somewhat ungratiously (are you gonna argue that?) combined with bringing us absolutely no post-season success whatsoever during his tenure, or at UVU for that matter.
Your "take the high road guys" exhortation combined with a trashing of the BYU program stature was one weird concoction.
Granted our post-season success has been quite wanting for awhile, but to say our program is perceived as mid-level nationally is disingenuous. You also may not be aware, but for the vast majority of college basketball history, the NIT champions were crowned as the national champions up until the late 60's or 70's (when NCAA tourney came on the scene). BYU won two of those and were ranked #1 in the nation. I double dare you to argue with fans of other schools who were crowned national Champs over those years by saying "meh, doesn't count, it wasn't NCAA."
