Scholarship. So is Retzlaff, Bohannon and Lugo. If Hillstead is on scholarship too, that’s 6 QBs talking up scholarships on offense. BYU is short a starting guard and at minimum one depth lineman. Usually 4 QBs on scholarship, so another position group is short players.

2 or 3 will play next season. It just seems like overkill at QB because problem 3 scholarship players won’t even see the field.

It would probably be best if a QB or two went in the portal. Best for both BYU and for them so they can get playing time somewhere.
