Pope clearly used BYU to get to UK and I think it happened quicker than even he imagined it would. BYU was never the pinnacle for him. Now that he is at the pinnacle he always wanted to climb, he does not care who/what he had to step on to get there and will do anything to stay on top. Right now that includes ignoring the stepping stones and trying to lure any players he thinks want to play for him. His UK roster is in much worse shape than BYU and I think he is currently a bit desperate. The pressure to please UK fans has to be intense.

I plan to just ignore Pope/UK. It's water under the bridge now. We can be mad at him if further actions hurt BYU, but I have to trust that eventually things will work out in BYU's favor. As fans, we have to believe in the future and ignore the past sometimes.
