Pope dumped BYU like a hot potato when Kentucky came calling. Yes he is a gold digger and there is potentially more gold in the Kentucky job. If Pope runs UK right and recruits right he's got a shot at a final four run about every year. Should eventually win a NC and bring home the gold.

Can't blame Pope for dumping BYU. But I can hate him for trying to take BYU players and recruits. That's just plain dirty. Go get your own UK recruits, there are many to choose from back there. Pope can find plenty of 4 and 5 star guys to come to UK. He doesn't need Chandler. He will likely end up unable to compete for starting jobs with players Pope can get to UK.
