People want it to be an insider source, but even ThugMormon in defending why CougConnect is good...doesn't even mention that. It's first and foremost about giving money to players, and secondly about fun/enjoyable content and interaction. If there happens to be inside info at some point, it's a nice bonus but that's not really what CougConnect does (as much as some people try to sell it as that)
We have paid out nearly a quarter of a million dollars to players for them and their families in a little over two years. Doing all of it while we make fun content and events for fans. It gets fans real value for money. We have helped CBers with family emergencies. Helped BYU fan owned businesses and more.
As an aside, I'd be VERY curious to see how that 88.64% is calculated (or even just the denominator). It's easy to bump that number up by making a bunch of easy, late, or established predictions. I've been considering briefly subscribing just to do a better independent analysis
