People are paying for it and so they want inside info that others don't get. But if it's inside info that the team/program/University is ok with people knowing, it gets out anyway. And if it's something they don't want out, then either CougConnect never learns about it...or they do and have to decide whether to harm the team by sharing it
Every CougConnect post tries to sell them as having secret inside info (often in a "I know something you don't" manner which grates on people).…but the focus should instead be on
1. It's a voluntary donation to support NIL and the players
2. It's a better personal connection with the players; interviews, experiences, chats
That's the niche - not insider program information
