I lived with a Tongan family that were friends of mine after I graduated High School. I heard stories and witnessed
several examples of certified racism towards whites. I heard of many and knew a few families that sent their kids to private schools or homeschooled them to protect their kids from racism and violence.

The way that the left portrays and pretends racism exists on the mainland is the actual reality of Hawaii. There of course are many many great islanders so I don’t want to present it as though it’s the majority but of the minority who participates in targeted racism — it’s really disappointing that they get away with it and it gets zero attention in the media.

To be fair, what happens in Hawaii to whites easily qualifies as racism by America’s hypersensitive race standards but it’s more of a clash of cultures than a skin color thing just like most “racial issues” are anywhere. Many of the islanders, particularly Pacific Islanders are just more old school and rough. This doesn’t seem to go over well with sensitive white families and their kids which make them a target of bullying, harassment and violence. But the “aloha spirit” is definitely more of a marketing campaign slogan than an actual part of the Hawaiian culture for sure.
