I have family moving back to the mainland. Said living in HI was like living
in a 3rd world country. Infrastructure is rough. Nothing is done on any kind of schedule. Public schools weren't great. It's a whole list.
I'm friends with several military families who moved to HI thinking it would be like living in paradise. They report to me that it wasn't and they were ready to move on.
