Dropping to 3 at home, then 2, resulted in much less of a change to the ‘feel’ of our home. Dropping to 1, however was a significant change. Maybe it’s because the first 3 were boys and the one left is a girl. Maybe it’s because we’re less busy with activities. Maybe it’s just less sibling interactions. Either way it’s very different. When she’s gone for overnight events, then it’s really odd. Not sure I’m excited for an empty nest.
