just as good or better in areas while in HS. Not as tall as Chase but faster (I believe he was laser timed sub 4.5 40) and in HS had the better hands, catching everything even close. Many, many incredible catches. Toe tap catches on the sideline diving out of bounds to catch the ball, while getting a toe in. Deep plays down the sideline etc. The combo of him and Chase at AF on each side of the field was very difficult for anyone to stop. Excellent route runner too.

Reminds me alot of Dax Milne.

We have not seen much of him post mission except in spring ball and a few practice highlights. Maybe he has not performed as expected in the coaches minds post mission but if Downing does indeed end up at another school, I would not be suprised at all if he becomes a starter and just tears it up. I hope this one does not end up coming back to bite us. Then again, maybe Fesi isn't too worried about it because of all the receiver depth he has right now.
