Past decade has been pretty great
1 of only 10 teams in FBS to finish with a winning record every year for the last ten years
#7 in the country in weeks spent ranked in CFP rankings (which starts rankings later in the year, rather than basing rankings on preseason hype)
7 times finished top 22
2 PAC championships, 4 appearances in PAC Championship game
And I don’t know what you mean by overhyped. Here’s an old post showing preseason vs postseason ranking. Utah has not been consistently overhyped the last decade.
