Keba is a much-more sure 2 pts under the rim than we got from anyone on our roster last season. Would be a huge pickup.
His versatility & rotation value are as clear as any transfer Pope scored for us from the Portal, imo. This is NO Plan B pickup if it happens.
He will make both Noah & Fouss immediately better. I think too many of our fans didn't realize how much NOT having an athletic, explosive 4 in the lineup allowed the opposition to cheat in defending Fouss.
With Fouss or Aly at the 5 — having Noah & Richie take on the Big 12's plethora of long, springy 4s was just not a winning combination for us. It was a matchup woe that even Duquesne capitalized on.

He's not Fouss. Nor is he a replacement for Fouss. He IS (imo) the complement to Fouss we sorely needed last season.
