...nice role player, gives you some rebounds and defense but his lack of an offensive skillset limits who he can be paired up with. I agree with IndyCoug, he's a plan B guy. If everybody else turns us down and he's all we can get then we take him but it's too early still in the process to panic and grab a defensive/rebounding specialist.

If you think about it from a coaching perspective, Keita scores the bulk of his points hanging around the basket waiting for garbage or drive and dish drop-offs (think Kolby Lee w/o the 3pt shot). Fouss scores the bulk of his points in the paint as well off of post moves that take a little time for him to set up (he's got to back his guy down, do a couple big shoulders, do the Kevin McHale ball fake/step thru and then off the glass). So if Fouss and Keita are on the floor at the same time and we dump the ball into Fouss in the low post, where's Keita going to be? If he's hanging around the basket then he's bringing an extra defender crowding the paint. If Keita goes out to the perimeter to create better spacing for Fouss in the post do you think Keita's defender is going to be out on the perimeter worrying about leaving Keita open for a 3pt shot or is he going to be ignoring Keita on the 3pt line and doubling down on Fouss?

Same problems we had with Lohner at the 4 or before that when Pope tried to play Kolby Lee and Haarms together at the 4 and 5. Creates spacing problems and makes scoring at the rim more problematic.
