For me, it's pretty sad that Pope was first BYU HC to swing for the fences with yewt kids from active LDS households. Before him, our efforts with even the big-name recruits in this demographic was simply not nearly enough.

Pope had NO problem leaving it all out there & ultimately losing hard. It's the only way to make it as a recruiter.
