All he gets at Kentucky over BYU is Pope. The competition is the same, fan
support little to no difference, same NBA eyes on him regardless of him playing at BYU or Kentucky.
He made his decision and must live with it - good or bad. I wish him the best, but this idea that he should be put on a pedestal because he gave up basketball for two years to serve a mission is ridiculous. He is no different than millions of others who have made great personal sacrifices to serve as missionaries.
