I believe Mark Pope is going to play the guys that give him the best chance to
win. And he definitely should, he's probably on the hot seat from day 1 at Kentucky. He needs to win. And the way he's constructed his roster with proven transfers, it's a long shot for ANY freshman to crack the rotation, and that's especially true for a freshman with mission legs.

I think that if CC plays more than 10 MPG this year on Kentucky with the way the roster is currently implemented he would have to be a first round draft pick.

And that's not just true for Kentucky, it's kind of the way college basketball is these days with the transfer portal. I also believe that CC would have a difficult time cracking the rotation at BYU. He probably would, but he would have to be very good and all indications point to him being very good, but BYU is returning guys with established minutes that have also earned playing time. Freshman will have an uphill climb unless they are no-doubt NBA talent. We'll see how KY handles this.

If CC wants to play this year, he needs to go somewhere else. He would have had a much easier time getting playing time if the roster was filled with the unproven 5 star talent that Kentucky normally gets and that were originally committed to Calipari instead of the roster filled with proven transfers that are ready to perform at a high level.
