All I want is a water pick treatment and scraping of plaque. I don't want images or diagnostics. Admittedly I am an overachiever when it comes to dental health, and I'm usually being told to brush softer/less. I floss multiple times a day with straightened staples while I'm sitting at my desk (I'll probably die from led poisoning). So when I get a cleaning, it goes pretty quick.

It might be hard for a solo practice, but I could see the economics potentially working if 4+ hygienists worked together. Analogize it to a great clips salon where the teeth cleaning is twice as much as a haircut and the hygienists make twice as much as a stylist.

*And yes, they would probably want to reserve the right to refuse service to people with teeth that need more than a simple cleaning. I think they could discriminate - people with gross teeth aren't a protected class.
