I get the nostalgia bit. I grew up going to Disneyland every summer. It helps though for me to realize that the company I grew up loving and supporting no longer exists and has been replaced by shills more interested in earning a quick dollar and ramming a political message down people’s throats than they are building lasting value and truly inspiring positive change through story telling.

I believe that Disney used to cater to the highest common denominator and instead have started catering to the lowest. They are catering now to an audience with zero attention span and largely being known as the first generation in forever to have an average decrease in IQ across the board.
