Lucas made 3 good, great good films, and then 3 okish/bad films
And then he gave it to Disney who has made just awful films and shows around it. While Lucas did make the 3 okish at best films, he didn't ruin the franchise. Disney has absolutely ruined the franchise. All of it is now, in my opinion, completely unwatchable.
