Most successful coaches are genuine. Bill Self, Pat Riley, John Wooden, and the
list goes on. Genuine usually means you have good self awareness and skills to match your craft. You don't have to be over the top and flamboyant because people generally understand you are trying to get boys and men to behave in a certain way to outsmart the opposition. I think KY follows this same operating mantra and doesn't get caught up in the cheerleading part as much.
