You'll have to play with personal tastes. Start with measured amounts based on measured kernels, then adjust to your
taste. I put the oil and kernels and salt in all at the same time. I make mine stovetop almost exclusively, so I make sure to stir up the oil and salt and kernels, until the popping starts
