contacts in the NBA will turn some more attention from recruits we would not have otherwise had a chance at, to at least come and take a look at what he may be able to build.

IF he can put together a few good winning seasons and get to the tourney and WIN a game a two then I think BYU can land some big recruits. Not a ton of them but it really only takes a couple to really turn a team around and make it possibly really good.

If he can get some of his NBA stars to come and help him a time or two at BYU games, practices and such, then recruits will take notice imo.

Pope doesn't have that cache. It will be fun to see this unfold. I am hoping for the best obviously and am optimistic.
