3. "Household name." What household names are there out there? Madsen is already a HC, so that would be stupid. Burgess is coming, so it's not him. Danny Ainge is not going to leave the Jazz for any realistic $$$. Shawn Bradley is in a wheel chair. Unless we are talking just some ridiculous name like Gregg Popovich or Pat Riley, there really are not that many "household names" out there.

4. I'd call what Burgess got a "significant" raise for anyone not worth $30M+.

1. It's immaterial whether KY was given a written offer or not. There is pretty strong consensus that he was the final candidate. The NBA is not like college. Offers are only made to a coach who has already verbally agreed to come.
