I think smarter in the sense that home life has a huge impact on work life. If
things aren’t good at home, my performance at work is going to suffer. If I can take ample time off to make sure my wife is recovered and in a good place mentally and I don’t have to be as worried about it, my work will be significantly better than if I was worried about it because I came back to work so fast.
