If there is paternity leave, it should be to support your wife’s recovery. Husbands can bond with newborns and any age of kids before and after work like we always have

We do 12 weeks paid maternity, 4 weeks paid paternity. More than that unpaid on a case by case basis.

I’d take whatever is given to me, but IMO 2-3 weeks is plenty for paternity. I think 4-6 weeks is plenty for maternity
