Sounds like Durant has played with several MVPs, and has always been better
Then each of them. Certainly the buck stops with Durant for his inability to win more championships. He chose poorly going to New Jersey, there's no doubt about that.

But that does not affect the fact that he is the greatest scorer of his generation, and does so without being completely ball dominant and while still playing some defense.

Wherever you have Kobe ranked, keep Durant ahead of him.
