I am amazed that on every post on CB related to Disney, it is like you are
Defending a family member.

Wish lost $131 Million. Also, “Two of the three bigger bombs were also Disney productions: The Marvels ($237m loss), The Flash ($155m loss), and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny ($143m loss).”

“If there’s an upside to Wish’s performance, it’s that the movie lost less money than Disney Animation’s preceding film Strange World, which came up $197m short of its total expenses.”

All of this indicates that Disney is continuing to employ an approach to entertainment that is not working or resonating with their target audience. In fact, one might argue that they are no longer effectively catering to their target audience, which would reflect gross mismanagement of their brand and product.

Only you could see the current state of Disney and their overall lack of performance and defend them.

“Yeah, but people are streaming these sunk cost films on Disney+ so they were actually good movies.”
